Lulu’s Local Eatery is a healthy vegan style cafe in St Louis, Missouri. I decided to go there for lunch after looking up their seasonal Fall/Winter menu online. Once I arrived I knew exactly what I was going to order! The Winter Quinoa Bowl. It consisted of warm quinoa, shredded carrot, cranberries, butternut squash, cauliflower, caramelized leeks, walnut parmesan and kale pesto sauce. It was so delicious and warming, perfect with the weather being so cold outside.
The menu is seasonal and they source local and organic produce where possible. All natural, non GMO ingredients are used. Yay for that! They even grow some of their ingredients on top of their food truck. Yes, they have a vegan food truck! The Lulu’s Local Eatery food truck was so popular, the owners decided to create a permanent address as well. Great idea!
The staff here are really lovely and looking around all the customers were enjoying their food. It’s a cute and casual place with an outside area which I am sure is popular during the warmer months.
The tea selections are the owners own blends, called Conscious Tea. Being a herbal tea girl, I loved the combinations!
I love finding these sort of places while I am traveling. So for anyone stopping by St Louis in the future, make sure to visit Lulu’s for a healthy vegan meal and beautiful handmade herbal tea.
