Do you love chocolate? Or is that a silly question? Doesn’t everyone?! Being the chocolate lover that I am, I’m always on the lookout for good quality raw chocolate. And Pana Chocolate has become my absolute favourite!
So you might be wondering what raw chocolate is and why it’s better for you. The cacao in raw chocolate is not heated above 42°C, unlike commercial chocolate which is heated to 130°C, meaning that all the antioxidants, nutrients and enzymes remain intact.
Not only is Pana Chocolate raw, but it is free from dairy, gluten, soy, refined sugars, preservatives, artificial colours & flavours. These handmade little treats are also organic and completely vegan.
- Coconut & Goji
- Fig & Wild Orange
- Hemp & Nib
- Raw Cacao
- Sour Cherry & Vanilla
All the flavours are great but if I had to choose a favourite it would have to be Eighty. As the name suggests, it is 80% cacao. Many chocolate bars I have tasted with high cacao contents can come across as quite bitter. But this one has the most delicious smooth rich chocolate taste that just melts away in your mouth! Pana Chocolate also has a different consistency compared to conventional chocolate. It is soft and fudge like, which I love. However, because of this a little extra care is needed by storing in a cool dry place.
Pana Chocolate’s original store is located in Melbourne Australia, with another one in Sydney. But luckily for us their chocolate bars are sold worldwide so we don’t have to miss out! Click here to find out where your nearest stockist is.
Pana Chocolate also have an amazing instagram, full of drool worthy images. Follow them to see what amazing raw dessert creations they are making in store next. But this does come with a warning…you will most probably want to book a trip to Australia just to visit one of their stores!
