Throughout the world Ibiza has a pretty big party reputation! I spent a week there over the Summer and being the type of person who is not really interested in the Ibiza party scene, I wanted to find somewhere away from the big mega clubs. Somewhere cool, beautiful, where I could eat good food and listen to great music. Somewhere I could go and spend the day comfortably with friends. And Amante Beach Club is it!
This wonderful spot is hidden away in a beautiful cove, overlooking the turquoise waters in Sol D’en Serra bay. I love how private and secluded this place feels.
I love the rustic beach interior and design of Amante. It is divided into several sections. When you enter you step into what feels like someone’s cosy living room.
Dining room tables sit below and when you take the stairs down, another dining area opens up along side a bar. The next set of stairs takes you down to the sunbathing area, where you can also sit and chill on bean bags and listen to the resident DJ. Towards the end of where the sunbeds are situated, there is a cabana where you can enjoy open air massages. And further down from there is access to the rocky beach to enjoy the refreshing clears waters of Sol D’en Serra bay.
The mediterranean menu is modern, healthy and based on the freshest local produce. We came here several times and enjoyed the stunning views and beautiful lunches. And you have to try their Seafood Paella! It’s delicious! The Quinoa Salad and Octopus were some of my other favourites.
Not only is Amante a great place to spend the day eating, drinking and sunbathing, they also have morning yoga three times a week at 8:45am on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. The sign rises on this side of the island to welcome the start of the day. Included is a healthy buffet breakfast that you can enjoy after doing your sun salutations. A perfect way to start your morning! Click here for more information and bookings.
Amante also hosts open air cinema nights, where you can stretch out on a full body bean bag under the stars. For more information on screenings and reservations, click here.
If you are looking for a little chilled hideaway for the day, away from all the craziness of the clubs, I totally recommend Amante. It has become my favourite go to beach club and shouldn’t be missed when visiting the beautiful Balearic Island of Ibiza!
